📏 How to Measure Your Designer Clergy Dress

For the perfect fit, follow these simple measurement guidelines. All measurements are in inches.

📐

Length

Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (near the neck) straight down to the desired hemline. Stand straight and ensure the measuring tape follows the natural contour of your body.

👔

Shoulder

Measure across the back from one shoulder point to the other. The measurement should start and end where the shoulder seam naturally sits, typically where your arm meets your shoulder.

💜

Chest

Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight, and you can breathe comfortably.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, which is typically the narrowest part of your torso, about 1-2 inches above your belly button. Keep the tape comfortably fitted without compressing.

🔄

Low Hip

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, approximately 7-9 inches below your natural waistline. Keep the tape parallel to the floor all the way around.

📍

Bottom

Measure the circumference around the lowest part of the garment where it will sit on your body. This ensures the dress will have the right width at the hem.

💪

Sleeve Length

With your arm slightly bent, measure from the shoulder point down the outside of your arm to your wrist bone. The tape should follow the natural bend of your elbow.

🎯

Arm Hole (Curve)

Measure from the top of your shoulder, down around the armpit area, and back up to the starting point. This curved measurement ensures comfortable arm movement.

Cuff

Measure around your wrist at the point where the cuff will sit. The measurement should be comfortable enough to slide your hand through while staying snug on your wrist.
