Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal and comfortable. Allow room for movement.
Measure around your natural waistline, typically at belly button level. Keep the tape comfortably loose for the flowing habit fit.
Measure across the back from shoulder point to shoulder point. This ensures proper drape of the habit across your shoulders.
Measure from the base of your neck straight down to where you want the habit to end. Traditional habits typically reach ankle length.
Measure from the shoulder point down the outside of your arm to your wrist bone. Keep your arm slightly bent naturally.
Have someone assist you with measurements for the most accurate results. Wear light clothing similar to what you'll wear under the habit.
