What Is a Choir Stole?
A choir stole is a decorative stole worn by choir members and worship leaders over a choir robe or gown. Unlike a clergy stole, it is not a sign of ordination, so anyone in the choir may wear it. It adds a band of color that unifies the group, marks the season, or highlights a special concert, anniversary or graduation service.
Thirteen Colors
Red, Black, Royal Blue, White, Green, Gray, Golden, Orange, Light Blue, Antique, Maroon, Navy Blue and Pink. Many churches choose one color to match their robes, then add seasonal colors for Christmas, Easter and Pentecost.
Made to Last
The full lining keeps the satin from twisting and helps the stole hang flat on any build. Each stole is packed in its own protective poly bag, which keeps a large order clean and easy to hand out.

Choir Stole FAQs
What is a choir stole?
A choir stole is a decorative satin band that choir members wear over their robes. It adds color and unity to the choir and does not indicate ordination, so it can be worn by any singer or worship leader.
What is the difference between a choir stole and a clergy stole?
A clergy stole is a liturgical vestment that marks an ordained minister and is worn for the sacraments. A choir stole is decorative, often satin with pointed ends, and is worn by choir members for appearance and to match the season or the occasion.
How long are these choir stoles?
On each side the stole runs 31″ from the neck seam to its pointed tip, at a width of 5″. On most singers the points fall to around the waist when worn over a robe.
Can I order matching stoles for the whole choir?
Yes. All thirteen colors are available in men’s and women’s sizing at the same price, and every stole comes in its own poly bag, which makes larger choir orders easy to sort and distribute.
What colors are choir stoles available in?
Pick from thirteen shades: White, Antique, Golden, Orange, Pink, Red, Maroon, Green, Light Blue, Royal Blue, Navy Blue, Gray and Black, each for $69.99.
